Position: Senior SAP EWM Consultant

Location Hyderabad,Bangalore

Experience:2 to 4Years

Education: Engineering or equivalent (B. Tech / MTech / MCA / BCA / MBA / B.sc)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) Consultant to join our SAP logistics team. The candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP EWM solutions to meet client business requirements in warehouse and logistics operations.

The role demands strong process knowledge, hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementations (either embedded or decentralized), and integration with SAP MM, SD, and TM modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Design & Implementation

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to warehouse management and logistics.
  • Design end-to-end SAP EWM solutions (embedded or decentralized), ensuring alignment with overall supply chain architecture.

  • Configure SAP EWM components, including:

  • Warehouse structure (storage types, sections, bins)

  • Inbound and outbound processes
  • Internal warehouse movements (putaway, picking, replenishment)
  • RF/mobile processes
  • Warehouse order creation rules
  • Packing, deconsolidation, and staging
  • Labor management (optional)
  • Slotting and rearrangement

  • Yard Management (optional)

  • Integrate SAP EWM with core SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and SAP TM (Transportation Management).

  • Implement Warehouse Monitor, RF Framework, Wave Management, and Physical Inventory processes.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Participate in or lead EWM full lifecycle implementations – blueprinting, configuration, testing, data migration, training, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Create functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements (in coordination with ABAP developers).
  • Manage and support interfaces with automation equipment (e.g., conveyor systems, ASRS) using MFS (Material Flow System).
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of integrated solutions.
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as a trusted advisor for business and IT stakeholders.
  • Conduct workshops, end-user training, and UAT sessions.
  • Provide recommendations for process optimization using EWM standard functionality.
