About the Company

The Company are currently seeking a Stonemason to join our friendly team. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are self-starters, open to learning and growing their portfolio. We have over 10 years experience installing Stone Kitchen Benchtops in Sydney as Stonemason's. We specialise in New Stone Kitchen benchtops & Kitchen Benchtop Makeovers of the highest standard. We take pride in providing our customers with a high-quality workmanship and a high standard of customer service. We are always striving to exceed the customers expectations.

The Role

• Studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable materials, method and sequence.
• Diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment.
• Setting stops and other controls on machining tools, setting and prescribed cutting and shaping tools.
• Setting up and operating machines.
• Inspecting and testing machinery and equipment.
• Hand polishing and grinding.
• Interpreting templates and reading plans.
• Checking internal and external, horizontal and vertical joint alignment.
• Constructing wall from large masonry blocks. Cladding, pillars and walls with large stone slabs.
• Aligning veined material on external and internal facades.
• To be successful in this role you will need:

The Candidate

• Have a high level of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and follow plans.
• Ability to work in a team environment and to work unsupervised.
• High regards for safety.
• Stonemason Background (preferred although not essential)
• Manual's Driver License

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday

Annual Salary of $ $80000
