Lab trainee

Job Summary

We are looking for a Lab Trainee to assist in routine laboratory testing and quality control activities within our ethanol/distillery plant. This is an entry-level role suitable for fresh graduates who want to build hands-on experience in chemical analysis, lab equipment handling, and plant quality operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting basic laboratory tests on raw materials, fermentation samples, distillation output, and final ethanol.
• Support analysis of key parameters such as pH, specific gravity, Brix, total solids, and alcohol percentage.
• Help in preparing reagents, standard solutions, and sample labeling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory work area.
• Assist senior chemists in operating instruments like GC, HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometer, and titrators (training will be provided).
• Record observations, test readings, and maintain proper documentation.
• Follow safety guidelines, SOPs, and quality protocols.
• Support troubleshooting, calibration, and daily equipment checks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Fresher or up to 1 year of laboratory/quality experience preferred (internship experience accepted).
• Good analytical skills, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
