Job Description – Fashion Designer / IllustratorPosition Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer / Illustrator to create garment designs, motif drawings, embroidery patterns, and artwork concepts based on market trends and client requirements. The role involves sketching concepts, preparing digital illustrations, coordinating with production teams, and ensuring final designs meet brand standards.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation

• Diploma / Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fine Arts, or related field.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or equivalent design tools.
• Strong sketching, drawing, and visualization skills.
• Knowledge of fabric types, embroidery techniques, and color combinations.

Soft Skills

• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work under deadlines.
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in fashion designing or illustration (freshers with strong portfolio can apply).
• Experience in embroidery design, surface ornamentation, or apparel graphics is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Create fashion sketches, motifs, and embroidery artwork (manual or digital).
• Develop new design concepts, patterns, and seasonal collections.
• Prepare technical drawings, colorways, and detailed design sheets.
• Convert ideas into digital illustrations using design software.
• Coordinate with merchandising, sampling, and production teams for design execution.
• Review samples and make necessary design modifications.
• Ensure artwork accuracy and timely delivery.
• Stay updated with fashion trends, colors, fabrics, and embroidery techniques.
• Maintain a digital library of designs and artwork references.

Additional Requirements

• Must share a portfolio of previous artwork or designs.
• Understanding of fashion trends and customer preferences.
