Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will have up to 2–3 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, documents, and reports.
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
  • Reconcile balance sheets and ensure accuracy of financial statements.
  • Assist in preparing tax returns and GST filings (as applicable).
  • Maintain and update accounting records and files.
  • Respond to vendor and internal inquiries related to accounts and payments.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance and timely processing of financial data.
  • Support audits and ensure proper documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with tax filings (TDS, GST, etc.).
  • Knowledge of statutory compliance and basic payroll processing.
  • Exposure to ERP systems.

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
