Job Purpose
IT Outsourcing Compliance will be responsible for ensuring that all IT outsourcing activities within the NBFC are compliant with applicable regulatory guidelines (RBI ), internal policies, and industry best practices. This role involves close coordination with vendors, internal stakeholders, and audit teams to maintain a robust compliance frameworkDuties and Responsibilities
1) Ensure adherence to RBI Master Directions on IT Outsourcing and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
2) Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and SLAs of outsourced IT vendors.
3) Maintain documentation and audit trails for all outsourcing arrangements
4) Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for new and existing IT vendors.
5) Review and approve outsourcing agreements from a compliance perspective.
6) Track vendor performance and compliance metrics
7) Assist in developing and updating IT outsourcing policies and procedures.
8) Implement controls to mitigate outsourcing risks including data privacy, cybersecurity, and business continuity
9) Work with IT, Legal, Risk, and Procurement teams to ensure end-to-end compliance
10) Coordinate with internal and external auditors for IT outsourcing auditsKey Decisions / Dimensions

• Deciding whether a third-party/vendor meets regulatory and internal compliance requirements for onboarding

• Approving due diligence outcomes and risk assessments

• Finalizing compliance clauses in outsourcing agreements

• Interpreting RBI/SEBI outsourcing guidelines and deciding how they should be operationalized across engagementsMajor Challenges

• Interpreting and implementing new circulars or frameworks across multiple outsourcing arrangements

• Ensuring third-party vendors comply with contractual obligations and regulatory standards.

• Managing concentration risk, sub-contractor oversight, and exit strategies

• Preparing for internal, statutory, and regulatory audits with complete documentation and evidence.Required Qualifications and Experience
a) Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Law, IT, Risk, or related field..

• 5 to 7 years of experience in IT compliance, with significant exposure to outsourcing governance in BFSI/NBFC..
Strong understanding of RBI/SEBI outsourcing guidelines and regulatory frameworks.
Experience in vendor governance, risk management, and audit handling.
Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
