Review Unsafe acts, unsafe situations, near misses, HSE issues

• Review, analyze unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, near misses, HSE issues.
• Suggest actions, report to SCM HSE Head and explain the SCM HSE communications to the Plant

Increased HSE awareness & thereby safety

• Provide inputs for toolbox talk and review the effectiveness of the tool box provided.
• Ensure all the employees covered on mandatory HSE topics and induction to new employees and visitors as per module provided by SCM HSE
• Ensure that the MBU HSE Governance guidelines are adhered by the plants on both Reward & Recognition and penalties part.

All RBU Plants are legally compliant and is certified on safety

• Review the HIRA & SAIA with SCM HSE and ensure the action to reduce the risk level are implemented in the plant.
• Awareness of legal requirements and compliance. Identify and resolve NCs arising out of audits.
• To facilitate internal and external audit.
• To monitor the control strategies related to workplace hazard leading occupational illness ( Noise, Fumes, Ambient air monitoring etc.)

Systematic development of database

• Coordinate for Review, Investigate any near misses, minor / major accidents, propose
• Corrective and preventive actions to prevent occurrence and re occurrence.
• Responsible to ensure those actions are implemented and confirm the action implementation to SCM HSE & Operation Head

Continual improvement and value addition by way of accident prevention, safer working environment and operating cost reduction

• Review the progress of improvement projects as part of continual improvement and value addition by way of accident prevention, safer working environment and operating cost reduction and report to Operation Head

Accident prevention

• Ensure only the approved PPE's as per list of approved PPEs release by SCM HSE are being used. And propose any additional requirements, changes into eh existing PPE and to add additional supplier.
