PHP Laravel/CodeIgniter Web Developer (Full-Time, Onsite)

We are seeking an experienced and talented PHP Laravel/CodeIgniter Web Developer to join our expanding team of creative professionals. This is a full-time onsite position, ideal for a highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage the entire development life cycle independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Manage the complete software development life cycle, from concept to deployment and maintenance.
  • Analyse business requirements, develop application logic, and debug code.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
  • Follow UX/UI best practices to ensure optimal user experiences.
  • Develop new features and maintain existing web applications.
  • Ensure responsive design and mobile optimization for all web projects.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement best practices to enhance product development.

Key Skills Required:

  • Main Skill: SQL (MySQL, MariaDB)
  • Strong experience in PHP MVC Frameworks: Laravel and CodeIgniter.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript & JQuery libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks.
  • Good understanding of server management (Apache, Nginx) and database systems (MySQL, MariaDB).
  • Comfortable working with Linux environments and command-line tools.
  • Proficient in code versioning tools like Git, SVN, or Bitbucket.
  • Experience in responsive coding and mobile optimization.
  • Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to resolve them.
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in PHP Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks is mandatory.
  • Proven track record of working on large-scale web applications.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A self-motivated developer with excellent problem-solving abilities and a desire to learn new technologies.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining high code quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud) and deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks like , React, or Angular.
  • Experience in performance optimization for high-traffic applications.
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of security best practices in web development.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
