About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager with 5–6 years of proven experience in Accounting, Audit, and Taxation within a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing internal audits, preparing financial reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and coordinating with external auditors (Big Four).

Key Responsibilities

  • Internal Audit & Financials
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Prepare monthly MIS, P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Analyse manufacturing costs and compare standard costs with actual production costs.

  • Monitor labour, overhead, and other manufacturing-related expenses.

  • Compliance & Regulatory

  • Ensure compliance with Indian taxation laws, GST, TDS, PF, PT, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
  • Prepare and file IT & GST returns, respond to queries from authorities.
  • Manage transfer pricing audits and consolidation of accounts.

  • Ensure compliance with import-export laws and assist with customs clearance.

  • Audit & Coordination

  • Liaise with statutory auditors (Big Four) to complete timely audits.

  • Coordinate with the Finance & Accounting teams across group companies.

  • Reporting & Advisory

  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights to management and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work on government subsidies and benefits applicable to the company.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education:
  • Chartered Accountant (preferred)

  • B.Com / M.Com with strong audit & taxation background

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Tally ERP, Genius Software

  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation laws & treasury operations

  • Other Requirements:

  • Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Accounting, Audit & Taxation in a manufacturing company
  • Strong analytical, risk management, and leadership skills
  • Excellent English drafting & communication skills
  • Experience in multi-location businesses or retail/F&B sector will be an added advantage
