Job Description:

Sakthi Constructions is hiring a Civil Site Engineer for residential and commercial projects in Arakkonam (Nemili), Tamil Nadu. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in managing construction sites and ensuring work is done to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily site activities and ensure the work follows design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and manage their payments.
  • Purchase and manage materials for the site.
  • Maintain an Mbook (Material Book) and track progress.
  • Monitor work quality to ensure it meets required standards.
  • Ensure the site is safe, clean, and organized at all times.
  • Resolve any site-related issues and keep the project on schedule.
  • Assist with material counting and billing.
  • After labor finishes work and before leaving each day:
  • Ensure site cleanliness is maintained, with tools and materials stored properly.
  • Ensure all work areas are organized and safe, ensuring no hazards remain on-site.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • B.E Civil or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in managing construction sites, especially residential or commercial projects.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of construction procedures, site safety, and quality standards.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project (preferred).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must Have:
  • Valid 2-wheeler driving license.
  • Available to work in day/evening shifts.
