Senior Designer III

Job DescriptionDo you want to design the next-generation of Endpoint Management tools The BigFix team is looking to grow our design team with a senior UX professional with a track record of applying user centered design, design thinking and agile methodologies to lead in the delivery of user experience designs for complex, enterprise applications. You will partner closely with product owners, software engineers and customers to create and optimize the user experience of our products. You will support cross functional teams throughout the full lifecycle of product development and be expected to utilize a full range of user research, product design and interaction design skills enabling us to create solutions that delight and excite users while fulfilling their needs. You will be hands on in all aspects of user experience developments including: ideation and brainstorming, gathering and understanding business & user needs, creating information architecture diagrams, building out detailed annotated wireframes, high/low fidelity prototypes, user research, user testing and a wide range of strategic UX deliverables including customer facing marketing assets. You must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload, meet critical project deadlines and have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships to lead design discussions with internal and external stakeholders. We work in a fast-paced, fun, and high-throughput environment where frequent customer interaction and multi-tasking is required. Required SkillsExperience with design techniques, user research and strong knowledge of user centered design processes and design thinking methodologyExcellent skills in developing wireframes, user stories, user journeys and prototypesAbility to work in an agile and highly collaborative, global environment with other UX designers, visual designers, product owners and developers to design experiences that are technologically feasible and meet the business and user needsExcellent portfolio showcasing design solutions and strategic approachesExperience with design software and tools such as Figma, Adobe suite, Invision, Axure, etc.Experience in the creation of presentations, to be shared both with the development team and other key stakeholdersPlan and conduct forms of exploratory, generative, and evaluative human researchCollect and analyze user behavior through lab studies, field visits, surveys, benchmark studies, server logs, and online experiments (A/B testing)Excellent public speaking skills including leading design workshopsStrong soft skills (personal leadership, autonomy & teamwork)Fluent English (both oral and written) Preferred Skills (nice to have)Strong awareness of visual and brand themes such as UI layouts, graphics and visual assets Experience with complex enterprise systemsExperience in survey design (ie: Qualtrics) and working with statistics and experimental designSoftware industry experience, specifically with endpoint management tools
