Job Overview: As a Big Data Manager, you will lead a team of data engineers and analysts, overseeing the design and implementation of large-scale data architectures. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability and performance of the organizationâs data infrastructure and driving data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage the Big Data team, including engineers and data analysts
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable Big Data architectures
  • Collaborate with business units to define data strategy and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Drive data governance, data quality, and data security practices across the organization
  • Implement best practices for data collection, storage, and processing
  • Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance 

Requirements: 

  • Extensive experience with Big Data tools and technologies (Hadoop, Spark, NoSQL, etc.)
  • Proven experience leading and managing data engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of distributed data processing, cloud environments, and data lakes
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, computer science, or related fields
