Job Responsibilities:
· Assisting with SCADA system design and implementation:

This includes contributing to the development of system architecture, component specifications, and configuration settings.

· Configuring and testing SCADA systems:

This involves setting up SCADA software, testing system functionality, and verifying the correct operation of SCADA components.

· Troubleshooting SCADA system issues:

Identifying and resolving technical problems, including communication errors, data acquisition failures, and software glitches.

· Maintaining and updating SCADA systems:

Ensuring the SCADA system remains reliable and performs optimally, including regular updates, security patches, and system upgrades.

· Collaborating with other engineers and technicians:

Working closely with other team members to ensure the successful deployment and operation of SCADA systems.

Education
:

· Bachelor's degree:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering (or a related STEM field) is typically required

· Relevant experience:

While a junior role, some employers may prefer or require prior experience with SCADA systems

· Knowledge of SCADA software:

Familiarity with specific SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Rockwell Automation) is often expected.

· Knowledge of PLC systems:

Understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and their integration with SCADA systems is often essential.

· Knowledge of industrial communication protocols:

Familiarity with common industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, DNP3, IEC is often required.
