Chinese Commi-i

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chinese Commi to join our team at The Fern Residency. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in the hospitality industry.

Roles and Responsibility

• Prepare and cook high-quality Chinese dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with other chefs to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Develop new menu ideas and recipes to enhance culinary offerings.
• Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and optimizing costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety protocols and quality control measures.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a hotel or restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, including cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, such as ovens and refrigerators.
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
