In India's fast-evolving esports ecosystem, the role serves as the operational backbone of every broadcast and live event. You are responsible for translating creative vision into executable production plans - on time, on budget, and on point. Someone who thrives in the chaotic intersection of sport, tech, and entertainment, balancing the accuracy of live broadcast with the dynamism of gaming culture.
The role involves planning and executing the entire production process - managing budgets, partners, schedules, and crews to deliver high-quality esports broadcasts. In essence, you bridge creative ambition with operational reality to make every JioBlast show world-class.

Key Responsibilities
- Live Production Planning: Coordinate with directors, broadcast engineers, and vendors to ensure seamless production and broadcast of esports events.
- Vendor & Crew Management: Liaise with external broadcast partners & vendors; negotiate rates and ensure timely delivery.
- On-ground Execution: Supervise setup, rehearsals, and live operations, ensuring safety, punctuality, and smooth coordination between broadcast, stage, and in-game teams.
- Budget Control: Manage cost sheets, track spends, and align with production budgets. Adept in budget forecasting and optimisation.
- People Management: Build and lead hybrid teams (full-time + freelance), maintain morale during long broadcast days, and ensure clarity in roles and communication.
- Tech & Workflow Adaptation: Stay updated with new age broadcast tools and softwares; identify scalable solutions for cost and efficiency optimisation.
- Compliance: Ensure financial discipline and compliance, safety and legal protocols.
Requirements
- Proven ability to plan and manage large-scale live productions - from pre-production to on-ground execution.
- Strong understanding of broadcast workflows, camera setups, lighting, venue and stage building, graphics, and streaming systems.
- Experience handling multiple production vendors, crew scheduling, and negotiations within tight timelines.
- Skilled at building and tracking production budgets. Capable of optimising resources without compromising quality.
- Excellent cross-functional communication with creative, tech, and content teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Calm under pressure with the ability to troubleshoot live issues quickly and effectively.
- Familiarity with call sheets, production schedules, equipment lists, and compliance paperwork.
- Ability to manage hybrid teams (in-house + freelance) and maintain discipline and morale during long production days.
- Willingness to travel and work irregular hours during live events or setup days.
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in live esports or sports broadcast production, managing both on-ground and online event operations. 
- Practical experience in arena setups, LED screen management, camera planning, and live stream integration across platforms like YouTube or OTT. 
- Background in coordinating vendors, technical crews, and creative teams to deliver seamless live shows is essential.
- Experience with broadcast tools and systems, working knowledge of stage lighting and graphics workflows, familiarity with esports titles, vendor networks, multilingual communication will be a strong advantage.
