Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering based in Mohali district. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for designing and delivering course content, leading engaging lectures, facilitating research initiatives, and mentoring students. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the candidate will be expected to actively contribute to curriculum development and participate in academic and administrative activities as per the university's strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Computer Science concepts, including foundational and advanced topics
  • Experience in Curriculum Development to design, revise, or enhance academic programs
  • Expertise in Data Science and Cybersecurity to foster research initiatives and teach relevant courses
  • Strong knowledge of Programming languages and methodologies relevant to modern computing
  • A doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field
  • Proven research capabilities with publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to mentor students and collaborate with colleagues
  • Prior teaching experience at a university level is an advantage
