Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
  • Build and manage microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define specifications, and deliver solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Write clean, efficient, and secure code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications.
  • Contribute to technical designs and ensure high-quality code deliverables.

Qualifications and skills

  • Experience with Java, particularly Java 8 and above.
  • Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and development.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs.
  • Experience with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and writing SQL queries.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks.
  • Ability to work on cloud-native applications, especially on Azure or AWS, is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus
