Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Data Engineer 7+ years of experience as a Microsoft Fabric Specialist

to lead the design, development, and optimization of modern data solutions. The role involves working extensively with
Azure Fabric, ADF, Databricks, SSIS, Power BI, and PySpark

to build scalable, high-performance data pipelines and analytics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the
    design, development, and implementation

of Fabric Pipelines, SSIS Packages, Data Flows, and ETL processes.
- Build and maintain
Notebooks using PySpark / SQL

for large-scale data transformation and processing.
- Perform
SQL Data Modeling, Query Tuning, and Performance Optimization

for efficient data solutions.
- Design and implement
ETL workflows

to move data between Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and on-premise systems.
- Develop and manage
Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks pipelines

for seamless data integration.
- Apply
Medallion Architecture principles (Bronze → Silver → Gold)

for structured data layering and governance.
- Implement and manage
CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

for automated deployment and version control.
- Oversee
Database Design

ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Design, develop, and optimize
Power BI dashboards and reports

for business insights.
- Ensure
data quality, security, and compliance

across all systems and deliverables.
- Provide
technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance

to junior engineers and data teams.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Azure Data Factory (ADF), SSIS, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric

.
- Expertise in
PySpark, SQL, and Notebook-based data transformations

.
- Proficiency in
SQL Server database development

– queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience in
Power BI report/dashboard development

(mandatory).
- Solid understanding of
ETL design, data modeling, and database optimization

.
- Familiarity with
Medallion Architecture

and
Data Lakehouse principles

.
- Knowledge of
CI/CD best practices and Azure DevOps pipelines

.
- Experience with
Apache Airflow

for workflow orchestration (preferred).
- Excellent
analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

.
- Demonstrated ability in
team leadership, project delivery, and mentoring

.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Microsoft Azure or Data Engineering certification(s) preferred.
