Chowgule Lavgan Shiprepair Pvt Ltd is an ultra modern shipyard located in Ratnagiri, on the West Coast of India, approximately 70 NM from Bombay High. As a part of Chowgule's 100-year-old enterprise, the company specializes in commercial ships, defense ship repairs for the Indian Coast Guard and Indian Navy ships, rig repairs, and EPC construction projects. They offer services for dry docking, refit, conversion, fabrication, and load-out.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Specialist at Chowgule Lavgan Shiprepair Pvt Ltd. The IT Specialist will be responsible for network administration, troubleshooting, network security, and providing customer service support for the company's IT systems and infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Basic Programming, Web design & Computer Hardware Network Administration, Troubleshooting, and Network Security skills
  • Experience in Information Technology
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Relevant certifications in IT or related field (e.g., Web design, Cisco, Microsoft Hardware)
  • Experience with shipyard or maritime industry IT systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
