Role Objective
To carry out precise surveying, setting out, and layout of civil works using Total Station and Auto Level, ensuring accuracy in construction alignment, levels, and dimensions as per project drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Survey & Layout Work
- Operate Total Station, Auto Level, GPS, and other survey instruments.
- Conduct site survey, marking, setting out, and level checks.
- Verify layout for foundations, columns, beams, roads, and utilities.
- Prepare as-built survey reports and drawings.
- Execution Support
- Assist Site Engineer/Project Engineer with marking and layout for civil structures.
- Provide benchmarks, gridlines, and reference points for site teams.
- Re-check alignments before concreting and major works.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain survey records, data sheets, and calibration logs.
- Submit daily/weekly survey reports.
- Coordinate with design and planning teams for layout corrections.
- Quality & Accuracy
- Ensure zero deviation in alignment and levels.
- Verify that construction work is in line with approved drawings.
- Monitor and re-check survey work during execution.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Total Station, Auto Level, GPS Survey.
- Ability to read civil/structural drawings.
- Strong mathematical & calculation skills.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD for plotting survey data.
- Good coordination & communication with site teams.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or Surveying.
- 2–6 years of experience in civil construction survey work.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹16, ₹30,000.00 per month
