Shifts: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM | 9:00 AM 5:30 PM | 2:00 PM 10:30 PM (No night shift)

JOB OVERVIEW:

Execute the Design & Development tasks for Customer Application programs through voice of the customer adopting the standard Engineering and company operating systems (i.e. PDP, Engineering change requests, Deviation procedures, BOM management and all associated IATF 16949 procedures, and Policies). From RFQ to Production release of PDPs, sustaining engineering and support for rapid resolution of quality.

Accountable for design and development Sunroof systems.

  • Perform engineering calculations necessary for the product design of these components and systems.
  • Provide support to manufacturing engineering and quality.
  • Work on product changes and make sure that they are implemented correctly.
  • Ensure the robust application of bookshelf solutions in line with the product strategies of the Centers of Expertise.
  • Use the PDP process on all awarded programs.
  • Maintain positive external and internal customer satisfaction
  • Follow CIEs tools and Best Practices.
  • Accepts personal responsibility for behavior, actions and results.
  • Demonstrates a passion for excellence, creativity and high degree of commitment to win have the confidence and trust of others.
  • CAD experience is required in CATIA V5.
  • Must have experience in design and development activities of automotive parts.
  • Good communication skills
  • Accountable for design and development Sunroof systems.
