Role Overview

We're looking for a seasoned Data Engineer with deep expertise in
Databricks
,
PySpark
, and
cloud-native data pipelines
. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building scalable, secure, and governed data platforms while collaborating across engineering, analytics, and business teams.


Key Responsibilities

Core Engineering

  • Develop efficient
    data transformation logic
    using PySpark
  • Manage
    Delta Lake
    for ACID-compliant storage and streaming
  • Build and orchestrate
    data pipelines
    using Databricks Jobs
  • Write complex
    SQL queries
    for data analysis and modeling
  • Collaborate via
    Databricks Notebooks
    for testing and documentation


Cloud & DevOps Integration

  • Integrate Databricks with
    AWS services
    for ingestion and storage
  • Implement
    CI/CD pipelines
    within Databricks using DevOps best practices
  • Ensure
    data governance
    , access control, and security compliance


Reporting & Visualization

  • Create impactful
    finance reports
    and dashboards using Power BI
  • Support business teams with data modeling and KPI development


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering and cloud platforms
  • Strong hands-on with PySpark, SQL, and Databricks
  • Experience with AWS integration and CI/CD in data workflows
  • Familiarity with data governance and security frameworks
  • Exposure to Power BI for financial reporting is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in AWS, Databricks, or Azure Data Engineering
  • Experience with Delta Lake and real-time streaming architectures
  • Understanding of financial data structures and reporting needs
