CSA - Part-Time Pottery Teacher

Purpose of Role

We are seeking a creative and passionate Pottery Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ceramics and pottery, with the ability to teach students of varying skill levels. The teacher will be responsible for planning and conducting engaging pottery sessions, ensuring student safety, and fostering creativity and artistic expression.

CSA Part-Time Pottery Teacher - Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver pottery lessons suitable for beginners and intermediate learners.
• Demonstrate pottery techniques such as hand-building, wheel-throwing, glazing, and firing.
• Provide individual guidance and feedback to students.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of pottery tools, wheels, and kilns.
• Maintain a safe and clean studio environment, following all safety protocols.
• Encourage creativity, confidence, and artistic growth among students.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
