About the Role

Teddy Buddies School is seeking a passionate and creative Music Teacher to nurture

a love for music in children aged 3-10 years. The ideal candidate will inspire students,

introduce foundational music concepts, and foster a positive learning environment

where young learners can explore their musical potential.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental

needs of children aged 3-10.

Introduce children to basic music concepts, including rhythm, pitch,

dynamics, and tempo.

Facilitate learning of age-appropriate repertoire of songs and musical

activities.

Skill Development:

Teach children singing techniques and prepare them for choir participation.

Encourage creativity through rhythm exercises, singing, and introductory

instrumental work.

Support children's early exposure to playing musical instruments.

Prepare students for school events, performances, and celebrations with

confidence and enthusiasm.

Classroom Management:

Create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for learning.

Manage resources effectively, ensuring all materials and instruments are

well-maintained.

Collaboration and Communication:

Coordinate with colleagues to align the music program with the overall curriculum.

Engage with parents to share students' progress and achievements.

Preferred but not Mandatory-

Ability to play multiple instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, percussion).

Experience in conducting choirs or leading group performances.
