Job Title: Cypress Automation Tester

Experience: 5 – 8 Years

Location: Pune (Hybrid)

Employment Type: On ALIQAN Payroll (C2H / Long-Term Contract)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cypress Automation Tester with hands-on experience in JavaScript, API Automation, and Cucumber frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure high-quality deliverables within an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript.
  • Perform API automation testing to validate backend functionality and integration.
  • Develop and maintain BDD test scenarios using Cucumber.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and business analysts to define test strategies and ensure quality coverage.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings.
  • Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous test improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Cypress – Strong hands-on experience in UI automation.
  • JavaScript – Advanced scripting and debugging skills.
  • API Automation – Using tools or frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or built-in Cypress features.
  • Cucumber – Experience implementing BDD frameworks.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab.
  • Familiarity with Git version control.

Job Types: Permanent, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹1,200, ₹1,500,000.00 per year
