Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and implement SRE capabilities to improve reliability and scalability of application services on public cloud infrastructure (Azure / AWS preferred).
  • Continuously identify opportunities to automate and build self-healing solutions, improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Contribute to and enhance the SRE operations toolkit to help service teams handle incidents effectively.
  • Collaborate with service engineering, product, and operations teams to understand customer journeys and implement best practices for service reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, incident management, and blameless postmortems and open to work on night shifts.
  • Support and troubleshoot production issues using source code, logs, metrics, and observability tools to resolve problems quickly.
  • Drive improvements in system observability, scalability, and stability, ensuring high performance in production systems.

Preferred skills

  • 2-5 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Software/Cloud Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of SRE principles (SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, MTTR, MTTD).
  • Hands-on experience managing workloads on Azure / AWS and deploying applications to Kubernetes (pods, services, ingress, storage).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or Java) with solid understanding of SDLC and automation practices.
  • Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Elastic Stack, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across cloud, infrastructure, and application layers.
  • Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern SRE practices.
  • A track record of delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions and improving systems iteratively.
