Underwriting Executive

Position: Insurance Underwriter – General insurance

Department: Underwriting

Reports To: Branch Head

Overview:

As part of the underwriting team, you will contribute to achieving organizational goals by supporting policy issuance, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a proactive approach and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Sales and Claims teams to support policy issuance.
• Generate quotations for new and renewal policies.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of all incoming documents.
• Maintain digital and physical records of policy documentation.
• Assign policy identification numbers for internal use.
• Coordinate with insurance companies for timely policy delivery.
• Share renewal alerts with Sales team monthly.
• Ensure client communication is professional and well-documented.
• Maintain a prompt support system for team members.

Ideal Candidate:

• Team player with a customer-first mindset.
• Experience in general insurance underwriting.
• Organized and detail-oriented.
• Strong follow-up and communication skills.

Candidate experienced in Fire/property underwriting will be given preference.

Salary is no Bar for experienced candidate

Pay: ₹15, ₹25,000.00 per month
