Azure Data Engineer ( Remote )

Location: Remote (1–2 days/month at any client office – PAN India)

Employment Type: Contractual / Remote

Tenure : 6 Months / Extendable

Salary : 70k - 85 K (In Hand )

Note : Candidate once selected will have to pick-up the laptop from the client office which is limited to the below locations :

Noida, Gurgaon, Indore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune & Chennai

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Azure Data Engineers with strong expertise in modern data platforms and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Snowflake, Python, and traditional ETL/Data Warehousing concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Perform data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using Spark and Python.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and reporting.
  • Integrate with Snowflake and other cloud data platforms for advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues in data pipelines.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the data lifecycle.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Azure Databricks (Spark-based transformations)
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF pipelines, triggers, integration runtime)
  • SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL)
  • Python (for scripting and data processing)
  • ETL tools and Data Warehousing (DWH) concepts
  • Snowflake.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD practices.
  • Good understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and performance tuning.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Power BI.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification.
  • Work Arrangement:

Primarily Remote Work

Occasional travel: 1–2 days/month to any nearby client office location-Noida, Gurgaon, Indore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai)

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹70, ₹85,000.00 per month
