Role & responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable AI/ML models for real-world business applications.
  • Manage the end-to-end ML model lifecycle: data acquisition, preprocessing, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and product managers to integrate AI seamlessly into products and solutions.
  • Continuously optimize models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies and research for practical business use.
  • Maintain clear documentation to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Education: Bachelors/Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in AI/ML development with proven track record of deploying models in production.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, NLP, or computer vision.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps/CI-CD pipelines.
  • Mindset & Approach:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Passion for innovation and exploring emerging AI technologies.
  • Ability to balance research with real-world application.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Effective communicator, able to work across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team growth.
  • Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or publications are a plus.
