Role and Responsibilities
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology & ICD- coding.
- Verify coded and add modifiers to diagnosis.
- Review Patient charts to better understand health histories, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Maintain high accuracy and efficiency with strong time management skills.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field.
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical coding and billing.
- In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
