Analyse the Job Description

  • Tailor

Format & ATS-friendliness

  • Use simple formats, avoid heavy graphics, text boxes, headers/footers that ATS systems struggle with.
  • Ensure section headings are clear ("Summary", "Professional Experience", "Education", etc.).
  • Use standard fonts and make sure keywords are spelled as they appear in the JD (and common variants).
  • File name: include your name + role (e.g., "").

  • Ensure your bullet points are concise, start with action verbs, emphasize impact.
  • Check for grammar, consistency (e.g., years/months format, spelling of company names, alignment).
  • Avoid generic phrases (e.g., "responsible for", "worked on") — instead use outcomes.
