Oracle Database Administrator - JD

Location: Mumbai

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle Databases (11g/12c/19c).
  • Manage RMAN backups, restores, Data Guard, and disaster recovery.
  • Perform performance tuning, SQL/PLSQL optimization, and analyze AWR/ASH reports.
  • Administer RAC, ASM, tablespaces, indexes, and database storage.
  • Ensure database security, access control, patching, and compliance.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and provide on-call support.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams; maintain documentation.

Requirements:

  • 5–10 years hands-on Oracle DBA experience.
  • Strong knowledge of RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard, and OEM.
  • Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and Linux/Unix.
  • Experience with high availability, backup strategies, and large databases.
  • Oracle certifications preferred.

UG: B.Tech/B.E
