Job Title: Assistant Manager HVAC

Location: Sterile Plant

Department: Engineering / Maintenance

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical / HVAC / Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in industrial or pharmaceutical HVAC systems.
• Experience in GMP-compliant

Job Purpose:

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of HVAC systems in the Sterile Plant, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and uninterrupted production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operation & Maintenance:

• Oversee daily operation of all HVAC systems including AHUs, ducting.

• Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules.

• Ensure smooth operation to maintain controlled environments as per cGMP and regulatory requirements.

• Compliance & Documentation:

• Maintain SOPs, maintenance logs, calibration records, and validation documentation.

• Support audits (internal & regulatory) by providing HVAC-related documents and reports.

• Team Management:

• Supervise HVAC technicians and engineers.

• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide technical guidance.

• System Optimization & Projects:

• Participate in HVAC system design, installation, and commissioning for new projects or expansions.

• Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues and provide solutions.

• Safety & Environmental Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to plant safety policies and environmental regulations.

• Conduct risk assessments for HVAC-related activities and implement mitigation plans.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and automation.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, electrical diagrams, and HVAC drawings.
• Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
