2D Draftsman

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Create precise 2D drawings and models using AutoCAD or similar software

• Develop detailed floor plans, blueprints, and other technical drawings

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to ensure design accuracy

• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project changes

• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations

• Maintain organized records of drawings and documentation

Requirements and Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software

• Strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles

• Attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Associate's degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit, SolidWorks)

• Familiarity with building codes and regulations

• Experience working in construction, architecture, or engineering industries
