Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented
Content Writer
to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and informative content that reflects our brand, supports our service offerings, and strengthens our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create compelling content for websites, blogs, case studies, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
  • Develop technical and non-technical content that clearly communicates Allied Worldwide's IT services, managed support solutions, and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Delivery, Marketing) to gather information and translate it into powerful written content.
  • Write service descriptions, thought-leadership articles, newsletters, press releases, and SEO-optimised content.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Conduct industry and competitor research to produce relevant, informative, and up-to-date content.
  • Assist in creating content strategies that improve engagement, lead generation, and brand visibility.
  • Maintain a content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all content deliverables.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role—preferably within the IT services or technology domain.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content trends.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to craft original and compelling content.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing for IT services, managed services, cloud solutions, or technical support environments.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools, CMS platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Ability to create content for B2B audiences and global markets.
