Technical Lead

ChatBot
is responsible for the projects and changes in ChatBot application and its integration with surround systems of the Bank and ensuring the successful delivery of projects related to ChatBot.

Overall Responsibility:

  1. Technically lead projects and changes of ChatBot application.
  2. Experience in Chatbot platform implementation, customization and integration.
  3. Proficient in integrating chatbotSDKs with mobile applications (iOS and Android).
  4. Experience with integration to connect the chatbot with variouschannels (website, mobile app, WhatsApp, etc.).
  5. Proficient in Java/J2EE/Python/Node JS, SQL, Microservices, and integration technologies (SOAP /REST/MQ/TCP-IP).
  6. Strongunderstanding of front-endtechnologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is highly desirable, particularly for mobile app integration.
  7. Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL databases. Must have hands on experience in SQL & PL/SQL.
  8. Extensive experience with RESTfulAPls, Web Servicesand API design principles.
  9. Expertise in containerization technologies (OpenShift, Kubernetes) and On­ Prem environments.
  10. Experience with microservices architecture is a plus.
  11. During Project or change phase, the resource should support for SIT, UAT, Security Testing and Performance testing.
  12. Familiarity with agile, waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
  13. Lead daily scrum calls and facilitate agile ceremonies to ensure the team stays aligned and project milestones are met.
  14. Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines using tools (e.g.,Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
  15. Experience with monitoring and logging tools to track chatbot performance,

identify issues,and troubleshoot.

  1. Evaluate vendor deliverables for quality and compliance with project requirements.
  2. Experience in data migration, application/server/infrastructure upgrade etc., if it is applicable.
  3. Day-to-Day Tracking and required follow-up to be in place during the whole project phase or changes.
  4. Diagnose and resolve application issues promptly,
    working
    closely with the product vendor, surround systems and infrastructure teams.
  5. End-To-End Test or Production implementation support for ChatBot projects and changes.
  6. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical and problem­ solving skUls to understand the business requirement and help identify, communicate and resolvesystems issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
  7. Documentation and technical skills require for preparing the Test Strategy document for SIT, UAT, Security and Performance testing.
  8. Banking Architectural skills must to have for supporting the banking applications and also to prepare the Architecture Document.
  9. Able to understand, interpret and follow the bank's specific technology governance policies, standards and procedures.
  10. Production support also requiredafter post-production implementation of any project or changes.
  11. Calm under pressureand supportive of colleagues at all times.
  12. Meticulous project management skillstechnically, dealing with multiple work streams simultaneously and familiarity in channel applications.
  13. Ensure that relevant documentation, policies and procedure related to Development Projects, Change Control, Access and Security are maintained and applied to all day-to-day activities related to Applications and their Platforms.
  14. Stay abreast with up-to-date knowledge of emerging technology trends and developments in areas of interest to the organization.
  15. Proactive monitoring and maintenance during project or changes phases.
  16. Making sure that support the project team is availablewhenever required.
  17. Must ensure that the changing needs of Business are addressed continuously and appropriate software solutions are recommended.
  18. Must make sure that a proper work distribution is maintained within the team assigned.
  19. Must ensure that any development or enhancements are based on best practices in the Industry.
  20. Mustco-ordinate with other sections within IT department in resolving issues and disputes.
  21. Must make sure that regular updates on progress are conveyed to the Digital Transformation Champion.

  22. Must make sure that high quality deliverables and work products are provided and meet commitments for the schedule on satisfying the Bank's user needs.

  23. Must ensure that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are undertaken and resolve problems as soon as they arise.
  24. Must contribute ideas to help the supportteam to become more effectiveand

seek
ideas from other team members.

  1. Must ensurecompliance to Risk and Audit standards.

Specific Responsibilities:

  1. System Maintenance.

  2. Must ensure that ChatBot application's availability is providedto the Project Testing team without any blockage of service.

  3. All application maintenances of the ChatBot application are undertaken and executed.
  4. Must ensure that a detailed root cause analysis of any issue is carried out and viable solution is recommended with the help of application vendors.

System Enhancements.

  • Must set milestones for the activities undertaken by Technical Lead and coordinate between variousgroups within Bank Muscat IT department and respective application vendor for resolution of any issues.
  • Must assist the project or support team in making proper decisions and using right methodology during any development whenever applicable. Must reviewthe architecture, the design, specifications and technical

documents related to any enhancement.

  • Researchand evaluate emergingtechnologies and trends and suggest course of action to IT Management.

  • Projects.

  • Assistand advise digitaltransformation and changemanagement teams on projects related toChatBot application.

Personnel Specifications

Good academic background with extensive domain knowledge of support systems of a bank and project implementation, mainly ChatBot application related.

7+
years of experience in the field of information technology with reputedorganizations having knowledge and experience in ChatBot application management. The candidate should also have thorough knowledge of the following:

  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages for customization, scripting, and integration. (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, ).
  • In-depth experience in system development, design, Architecture and implementation.
  • Planning, implementation and administration of ChatBotapplication system through the use of controls, procedures, measurements and strategies.
  • High-level knowledge of current technology in the industry.
  • In depth knowledge in Documentation & Report/MIS Preparation.
  • Good management capabilities with abilitiesto lead a team.
  • Good communication, presentation skills with good command of writtenEnglish.
