Job Title: Engineer - Quality Analyst
Experience: 2 to 5 years
Location: Bangalore
Role Summary:
We are seeking a talented SDET to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and testing of high-quality software products. As an SDET, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our applications.
What will you do?
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various software components, including APIs, UIs, and back-end systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements, identify testing needs, and provide valuable feedback throughout the development lifecycle.
- Automate test cases using industry-standard tools like Rest assured, Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright to improve efficiency and test coverage.
- Leverage your knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, etc.) to set up and maintain testing environments.
- Integrate automated tests into continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins to ensure timely feedback and early detection of defects.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality and maintainability.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues promptly.
Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies to enhance your skills and contribute to the team's growth.
What skills required?
- 2-5 years of experience in software development and testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with API and UI testing.
- Proficiency in at least one automation testing tool (Rest assured, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, OCI) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
