Nature & Area of Impact: Supports in providing insights and support to Battery Pack development and process/product engineering teams. Open to proposing new concept or methodology ideas that can improve product life and costing. Key Accountabilities and ResponsibilitiesCell selection, foam selection and pack production process defining experienceDOE for cell selection (Safety, performance)Pack component validation planning and execution

Simulation and analysis of worst-case analysis at BOL, MOL and EOL of the pack

Passionate to involve in cross-collaboration projects supporting pack simulations studies with pack design or system team

Co-ordination with vendors, suppliers

Participation in material and component selection and component level validation planning and report analysis

Shall support both simulation and system team

Material properties and costing, production process and costing estimation experience Collaboration and coordination with all stake holder teams Shall able to solve teams technical problem and guide the team

Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceEssential (Minimum 10 years of battery pack development experience)Mechanical development and simulations tools SolidWorks, CAN, Ansys etc.Module to pack development experience and cell to pack development experience will be add on

Understanding of different cell chemistry and cell mechanical and electrical behaviour

Clear understanding of mechanical, electrical and thermal behaviour of pack and cells

Familiar with Pack certification for Indian and EU market DesiredKnowledge in data-driven and hybrid methods for cell modelling
