Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of and experience using Data Governance tools (e.g., Informatica Axon, Data360, Collibra, etc.) highly preferred
  • Design and Develop mechanism of oversight policies and regulations using Python, AWS.
  • Maintaining, testing and implementing disaster recovery procedures.
  • Implementing automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python ) to manage AWS services.
  • Building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources in an AWS environment.
  • Developing software components in Python that interact with AWS cloud services by leveraging the AWS APIs.
  • Implement tools to advance and measure the quality of data held in various systems. Create metadata repositories, data lineage flows, data inventory and data catalog integrations.
  • Support research of Data Governance and Data Quality methodologies and tools. Design and implement reports for Stakeholders and Data Governance internal and external audits.
  • Design workflows and implement processes to enable and implement audit processes, provide oversight on policies and standards.
  • Work on projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of data governance & data quality
  • Expertise at Intermediate level on Python, AWS.
  • Technical proficiency with MS Office, including Access and Visio
  • Working knowledge of relational database and query concepts
  • Ability to influence across multiple levels
  • Must be effective at prioritizing and managing complex tasks
  • Knowledge of IT development, data management and change processes
  • Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
  • Strong communication skills
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree
