Over the past 5 years, over 100,000+ freelance content creators have applied to be part of the Pepper network of which we work with the top 5% of talent, and on the other end - we work with over 2500+ customers like Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and the majority of the startup ecosystem.

Note- This is an onsite role in Mumbai (Remote applications will not be processed)

About the Role:

We're looking for a Senior Motion Designer who can turn ideas and scripts into visually powerful stories that move audiences — literally. As part of a creative team, you'll craft engaging motion graphics, animations, and edits that amplify brand storytelling across social, digital, and experiential platforms. You should be quick to understand scripts, strong at visualizing storyboards, and passionate about pushing the limits of storytelling through design and motion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret creative briefs and translate scripts and designs into compelling motion concepts and storyboards.
  • Animate visually engaging videos/gifs/reels for campaigns, social media, explainers, product launches, and brand stories.
  • Collaborate closely with art directors, copywriters, and creative strategists to bring ideas to life.
  • Develop style frames, transitions, typography, and motion treatments that align with brand identity and creative tone.
  • Deliver high-quality, platform-optimized videos under tight timelines.
  • Stay ahead of digital and motion trends to constantly bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • Ensuring creative consistency and quality.

Requirements:

  • 8-9 years of experience in motion design, digital content, or production (preferably at a digital-first or creative agency).
  • Strong understanding of visual storytelling, timing, rhythm, and transitions.
  • Advanced skills in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop (knowledge of Cinema 4D/Blender is a plus).
  • Ability to interpret scripts and visualize engaging storyboards independently.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with quick turnarounds.
