Role and Responsibilities:
  • Create, test, and implement enterprise-level applications using SingleStore and Snowflake technologies.
  • Have a deep understanding of SingleStore Distributed Database Architecture and the ability to design efficient data models with SingleStore Column Store and Column Store Reference Tables.
  • Analyze data and business requirements to design data models for analytical reporting.
  • Define shard keys and sort keys for tables and troubleshoot performance issues with UI Dashboard Reporting Queries on SingleStore.
  • Develop DMLs, procedures, and functions to meet project requirements.
  • Experience with SingleStore Pipelines will be advantageous.
  • Develop enterprise-level applications using Snowflake and optimize ETL processes using Snowflake procedures with Python.
  • Create and manage database objects in Snowflake.
  • Load data to S3 Bucket using COPY commands in Snowflake.
  • Proficient in creating Snowflake procedures and integrating them with Python for implementation.
  • Knowledge of Python is preferred for implementing Snowflake procedures via Python.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SingleStore and Snowflake technologies.
  • Strong expertise in SingleStore Distributed Database Architecture and Snowflake.
  • Proven track record in designing efficient data models for analytical reporting.
  • Proficient in developing DMLs, procedures, and functions in SingleStore and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with SingleStore Pipelines and Snowflake's ETL processes.
  • Experience with Python for implementing Snowflake procedures is a plus.
