Senior EMR Integration Architect

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior EMR Integration Architect with a deep understanding of UAE healthcare systems and regulations to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge Electronic Medical Records (EMR) integration solutions, primarily focusing on Oracle Cerner or other leading EMR platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability with enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture, design, and development of robust EMR solutions tailored for the UAE healthcare ecosystem, with a primary focus on Oracle Cerner and other leading EMR platforms.

- Develop and maintain full-stack applications leveraging Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly healthcare software solutions.

- Architect and implement integration solutions connecting EMR systems with SAP modules such as SAP ERP, SAP HCM, ensuring seamless data exchange and interoperability between clinical and business systems.

- Design IoT-enabled healthcare solutions to enable real-time patient monitoring, smart device connectivity, and data-driven clinical decision-making.

- Collaborate closely with clinicians, business analysts, system architects, and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.

- Ensure strict compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, including DHA (Dubai Health Authority), HAAD (Health Authority Abu Dhabi), and industry standards such as HL7, FHIR, ensuring data security and patient privacy at all stages.

- Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability through the adoption of modern development practices, cloud infrastructure (OCI, AWS, Azure), and container orchestration technologies.

- Champion software quality by enforcing best practices in code reviews, automated unit testing, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and DevOps workflows.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

- Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in Healthcare IT, IoT, cloud technologies, and full-stack development, applying this knowledge to enhance and future-proof our solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in EMR integration, preferably with Oracle Cerner or similar leading EMR platforms.

- Proven expertise in full-stack application development using Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and

- Strong experience integrating EMR with enterprise business systems, especially SAP modules like SAP ERP and SAP HCM.

- Solid understanding and practical experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and IHE profiles.

- In-depth knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations and compliance requirements (DHA, HAAD).

- Experience working with IoT technologies in healthcare environments for patient monitoring and smart device integration.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), AWS, or Azure, including container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across global and multidisciplinary teams.

- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience mentoring technical teams and driving architectural decisions.
