Job Description
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer experienced in Solar PV or Substation-based projects to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The role involves managing mechanical installations, steel structures, trackers, and ensuring smooth site execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical installation of mounting structures, trackers, modules, HVAC systems, and piping
- Perform technical evaluations for mechanical materials and vendor submissions
- Ensure compliance with KSA mechanical codes and project specifications
- Coordinate with contractors for site execution, inspections, and QA/QC
- Oversee installation of fire-fighting and auxiliary mechanical systems
- Conduct mechanical testing, alignment checks, torqueing, and quality inspections
- Prepare mechanical reports, BOQs, and progress updates
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
- 3+ years' experience in Solar/PV, substation, or power plant projects
- Strong knowledge of mounting structures, trackers, HVAC, pumps, fire systems
- Skilled in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, STAAD is a plus
- Good understanding of mechanical drawings and QA/QC procedures
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a bonus
- Ready to relocate/work in KSA
