About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated CA Industrial Trainee to join our W&W Commercial team. The role offers hands-on exposure to corporate finance and accounting processes within a dynamic business environment. The trainee will work closely with the team on financial analysis, reporting, audits, and strategic initiatives that contribute to organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and management reports.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
  • Participate in internal audits, compliance checks, and process reviews.
  • Work on reconciliations, general ledger accounting, and month-end closure activities.
  • Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and performance improvement.
  • Assist in automating reports and improving financial processes.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Procurement, Operations, etc.).
  • Support special projects as assigned by the team.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The candidate should have a good understanding of the Retail Industry we operate in.
  • Must have cleared CA Intermediate (IPCC) in the first attempt.
  • Articleship experience with a Big 4 will be an added advantage, and eligible for industrial training as per ICAI guidelines.
  • Consistently strong academic background (minimum 90% above in Class XII preferred).

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.).
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced corporate environment.
