The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating, setting, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality components as per engineering drawings and specifications. The role ensures production efficiency, dimensional accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CNC machines (Turning / Milling as applicable) according to daily production schedules.
  • Set up tools, fixtures, and materials as per job requirements.
  • Perform basic programming or offset adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect finished components using measuring instruments (Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.).
  • Maintain production records and report deviations or machine issues to the supervisor.
  • Ensure machines are cleaned, lubricated, and maintained properly.
  • Follow all safety procedures and use proper PPE during operations.
  • Support continuous improvement, 5S, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
