Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Cashier located in Hyderabad. The Head Cashier will oversee daily cashiering operations, manage transactions, and maintain cash registers. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient billing processes, resolving customer or register-related issues, coordinating with the finance team, and guiding the cashiering team to uphold accuracy. Additionally, the Head Cashier will ensure compliance with company policies and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and transaction management
  • Team leadership skills for supervising, training, and motivating the cashiering team
  • Customer service orientation to resolve queries and provide a positive shopping experience
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in billing activities and monetary transactions
  • Problem-solving abilities and skills to resolve issues with transactions or systems
  • Relevant experience in retail or cashiering roles, with prior leadership experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office applications is advantageous
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
