About the Role
We are looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team and manage all kitchen operations, including food preparation, menu planning, quality control, and kitchen hygiene. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in South Indian, North Indian, or Multi-Cuisine cooking (based on your requirement), excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high food standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare high-quality dishes according to company recipes and standards
- Ensure consistent taste, portion size, and presentation
- Cook multiple cuisines as required (South Indian / North Indian / Chinese / Continental)
Kitchen Operations
- Manage daily kitchen operations efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards (FSSAI norms)
- Monitor kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs
Menu Planning
- Develop new menu items and seasonal specials
- Work with management to improve recipes and reduce food cost
- Understand customer preferences and adapt menu accordingly
Inventory & Cost Management
- Oversee ingredient stock, ordering, and supplier coordination
- Reduce food wastage and manage food cost efficiently
Team Leadership
- Train and supervise kitchen staff (commis, helpers, cleaners)
- Assign duties and manage shift schedules
- Maintain discipline and teamwork in the kitchen
required Qualifications & Skills
- 2–5 years of experience as a Chef / Cook / Commis Chef
- South Indian / North Indian / Multi-Cuisine / Chinese / Tandoor (choose your type)
- Strong knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen standards
- Ability to manage high-pressure kitchen environments
- Good communication and team-handling skills
- Creativity with a passion for new recipes and menu innovation
Education (Optional)
- Hotel Management Diploma / Culinary Certification (preferred, not mandatory)
- FSSAI certification is an added advantage
Salary Range
(Customize as needed)
- ₹15,000 – ₹35,000 per month for regular Chefs
- ₹ per month for Head Chef / Multi-Cuisine Chef
Working Hours
- 8–10 hour shifts (morning / evening)
- Weekly off will be provided
