We seek a highly motivated React Native Mobile Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android platforms, releasing them to iOS and Google Play Store, and performing unit testing.

Candidature Requirements:

  • An Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate from a recognized University.
  • Good aptitude, logical reasoning, and analytical thinking skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams using agile methodologies.
  • Problem-solving skills.

  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in mobile development.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Analyze user and system requirements.
  • Design flowcharts to illustrate software solutions.
  • Write efficient code based on feature specifications.
  • Develop user interfaces.
  • Prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
  • Validate software functionality and security.
  • Release applications to iOS and Google Play Store.
  • Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and best practices are followed.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with a focus on React Native.
  • Proficient in Redux (or similar) for state management
  • Solid JavaScript and TypeScript experience
  • Solid understanding of React Hooks, lifecycle, and performance considerations
  • Experience in integrating with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with automated build processes and automated tests (e.g., Jest, React Native testing library, Detox etc)
  • Experience implementing UI/UX elements based on wireframes/design systems
  • Proficient in using Git as a source control

Nice to Have Requirements:

  • Experience in using Xcode and Android Studio
  • Native App development experience (Objective C/Swift or Java/Kotlin)
  • Knowledge of financial services or banking industry.
  • Some exposure to the cloud computing platform e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Knowledge of build and deployment pipelines
