Responsibilities of candidate include:

  • Create Technical Drawings: Produce precise 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for products, buildings, or equipment.
  • Use AutoCAD Software: Operate AutoCAD and other CAD software for design and modeling.
  • Collaborate with Design Teams: Work with architects, engineers, and other team members to understand design requirements and specifications.
  • Interpret and Refine Designs: Review rough sketches and design ideas, translating them into detailed drawings.
  • Update and Revise Drawings: Modify existing drawings based on project changes, client feedback, and updated requirements.
  • Ensure Standards Compliance: Verify that all drawings adhere to industry codes, regulations, and project guidelines.
  • Maintain Project Documentation: Organize, manage, and maintain drawing files, project documentation, and revisions.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to ensure drawings are accurate, efficient, and meet all specifications.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD: Expertise in using AutoCAD software for 2D and 3D modeling.
  • Understanding of Drafting Principles: Strong knowledge of drafting standards, symbols, and best practices.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret technical specifications, measurements, and calculations.
  • Collaboration Skills: Effective communication and teamwork skills to work with various professionals.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in drawings and designs.
  • Education: Often requires a diploma or degree in drafting, engineering, architecture.
