Role Summary

The GM Finance & Accounts will be responsible for managing end-to-end financial operations, banking liaison, statutory compliances, project-wise financial monitoring, and strategic fund planning. The role involves close coordination with internal departments, banks, and statutory authorities to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Control

  1. Lead project financing activities through Private & PSU Banks.
  2. Liaise and coordinate with banks for TL/CC/WC/CA facilities and documentation.
  3. Provide financial data to banks, including CMA data, periodically.
  4. Plan and monitor sources and utilisation of funds.
  5. Prepare daily fund balance and inter-project fund transfer statements.
  6. Maintain monthly stock and site-wise cash flow statements.
  7. Prepare and update site-wise income and work-completion financial statements.
  8. Analyse monthly project-wise financial performance (% of work completed).
  9. Monitor receivables from clients and ensure timely reconciliation.

Statutory Compliance & Reporting

  1. Ensure timely reconciliation and filing of GST returns.
  2. Raise GST invoices, debit notes, and credit notes as required.
  3. Handle monthly TDS reconciliation and return filing.
  4. Interact with GST and Labour authorities when required.

Accounting & Book-Keeping

  1. Oversee payroll administration and staff salary records.
  2. Approve accounting entries and ensure accuracy in Tally.
  3. Ensure periodic & timely updation of books of accounts.
  4. Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statement.
  5. Ensure proper finalisation of annual books of accounts.

Operational & Administrative

  1. Visit project sites if required during special or emergency situations.
  2. Handle additional tasks assigned by management as needed.
